Year of music
The Governor of North Carolina declared 2019 The Year of Music. Come Hear NC, a unique collaboration between the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) and the North Carolina Arts Council, was born out of that declaration.
Come Hear NC was a multi-faceted awareness campaign with daily stories on the 365 Days of Music blog, sponsorship presence at popular music festivals such as Hopscotch and Merlefest, and a signature series of intimate concerts at the Executive Mansion called Music at the Mansion.
The campaign logo and branding was done by the talented folks at Winston-Salem-based design firm Elephant in the Room. As a lead designer at DNCR/NC Arts Council, I translated the Come Hear NC branding into promotional material for festival and events.
